Maryam is a true artist. The only direction I gave her was that I wanted a change and to be blonde, and she brought that vision to life even better than I could have imagined.

I recently went to get a styled haircut, a shaggy wolf haircut, and it looks exactly like the inspo pictures I have showed her. I really liked how inclusive she is, especially as a hijabi ( I wear a scarf), she made me comfortable and safe! ( she has blinds). I will be coming back and highly recommend her!

I came to Maryam in September after my dark brown hair was dyed black - not on purpose. I have light skin and blue eyes and the black hair was very harsh. Maryam took me in, on her day off, and colour corrected to my natural dark brown. After the colouring, she blowed out my hair and put a wave in and I felt like a million bucks. Since then, she has done my roots many times, given me a fabulous cut, and done many pre-event blowouts. I cannot say enough how kind, detailed oriented, and talented Maryam is. She now has a client for life.

I visited Maryam yesterday and had a really positive experience. The space is completely hijab-friendly, with its own private area and blinds, which made me feel very comfortable. As someone who wears hijab, this level of privacy is extremely important to me. I am also a very private person, so the calm, discreet, and thoughtfully designed environment Maryam provides is ideal.
Maryam is skilled, professional, and genuinely cares about her clients. Although the initial tone was not exactly what I wanted, which was not her fault, she listened carefully and took the time to fix it until I was happy.
More than anything, this is a space where privacy, trust, and care are central to the experience. Maryam creates an environment where you feel completely respected and at ease while receiving excellent, personalized service. Maryam is an amazing hair artist!! First off, she really listens to what YOU want and offers great suggestions to ensure your vision will be realized. Maryam does not rush you in and out but makes you her complete focus while you are there. She has a great space that is private and inviting for her clients only. I have lived in Vancouver for 2 years and had only gotten my hair done when I flew home to Ireland as I was nervous to trust a new stylist. To say Maryam is the best in the game is an understatement. As you can see, my blondish hair was in a pretty sorry state when I entered the salon. I felt like a different person leaving.
I showed Maryam one photo of what I wanted and she worked her magic. The colour, the cut- it wasn’t just what I had asked for, it was so much more than that.
If you’re like me and looking for a new stylist, you’ve found her.
